The RB16B of Max Verstappen has been extra checked by the FIA after the Qatar Grand Prix. The choice for the Dutchman's Red Bull was made at random from the cars that finished in the top ten in the race.

Red Bull complies with all regulations

After each race the FIA selects a car from the top ten for more extensive physical inspections. This time it was the Dutchman's turn. "This involved inspecting all parts of the rear suspension, as well as all attached sensors, their cable routing and connections to the SECU and other units," the FIA said on its website.

The RB16B complied with all tests conducted by the FIA. "All inspected parts were found to comply with the 2021 Formula One Technical Regulations." Verstappen is the leader in the World Championship with eight points difference. With two races to go, the battle for the world title is very exciting with Lewis Hamilton as an experienced challenger.
