Max Verstappen can clinch his first ever world championship today. The Dutchman has to keep Lewis Hamilton behind him, because he is tied for the points with the seven-time world champion. In The Build Up of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Verstappen looks ahead to the race for one last time.
"It's great to see all the fans support us around the track. It's the final race, so everyone wants to come out, and it's incredible to see all the support." Verstappen explained. With just a few hours to go until the start of the race, Red Bull Racing's driver is still very calm, looking ahead to the possible scenarios that could arise in the race.
Verstappen shows confidence
"We're feeling good. We will see what the tyres will do, but we are confident that the tyres will be decent. A lot of things can happen in the race with strategy, but at least it's the right tyre for the start."
"The start will be important, but also the rest of the race. A lot of things can happen and I really expect a tight battle today," Verstappen concluded.
