Russell angry after Verstappen world title: "Absolutely unacceptable this"

George Russell gets on well with Max Verstappen, but the Williams driver doesn't believe what he saw in Abu Dhabi this Sunday. According to the British driver, who will be Lewis Hamilton's teammate next year, it is incomprehensible what the FIA race control has pulled off at the Yas Marina Circuit.
"This is absolutely unacceptable," Russell wrote on his Twitter afterwards. "Max is an absolutely fantastic driver who has had an incredible season and I have nothing but huge respect for him, but what just happened is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot believe what we’ve just seen."
The 23-year-old driver believes the race should not have been resumed in this manner. In any other scenario, Hamilton would have grabbed his eighth world title, but a different decision was made.
