Helmut Marko finally managed to secure another world title with Red Bull Racing and  Max Verstappen this season. The Austrian will be hoping to continue the good form this season, although he realises there is a challenge ahead.

Mercedes hopes to bring new energy into the team with the arrival of George Russell. Where Lewis Hamilton has shown for years that he is one of the best drivers in the business, the German racing team hopes that with Russell they will have a driver who is capable of the same. Marko however is not sure about that yet.

Red Bull's advisor hopes Russell can take points away from Hamilton. "For us, of course, that would be great," Marko stated in conversation with La Gazzetta dello Sport. "But he has to show that first. He was very strong in qualifying last year, but in the races, he was hardly faster than his teammate (Nicholas, ed.) Latifi."

Good performance of Russell at Williams

Russell had a promising season by scoring sixteen points for Williams. The difference between him and Latifi was nine points, showing that he is a lot stronger than his teammate. However, he will face more pressure on his performance at Mercedes and this will be an interesting period for him.
