There are plenty of prominent ex-drivers walking around the paddock every race. Sometimes they are present as analysts or they work for a team, and in many cases, these ex-drivers can't let go of Formula 1 after they retire.

Broken toilets

Undoubtedly, this does not apply to Kimi Raikkonen. The Finn has made it pretty clear in recent months that he was happy that his long-standing Formula 1 adventure was coming to an end. After the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Raikkonen said goodbye to an illustrious career and we will probably not see him in the paddock very often.

Still, Raikkonen is not one to sit still. He is going to spend the upcoming free time in a very useful way: in and around his house. To AutoHebdo the Finn revealed that he is extremely handy. According to the French media, Raikkonen once even repaired the broken toilets at Ferrari. A rumour which handy Kimi all but denies.

Handyman

"Do you call the plumber when you have a problem with flushing the toilet? No. Well me neither," says Raikkonen, who explains he has always been a good handyman: from his house to the car, he can fix it. "I'm very busy in the next few weeks. I don't see why I should pay someone to unclog a sink, change a wheel, and so on."
