Mercedes PU man moves to Red Bull as of May 2022

Red Bull Racing have announced that it will have Ben Hodgkinson at its disposal in May. The Brit officially comes over from Mercedes later this year and will lead the Red Bull Powertrains project.
New face at Red Bull
Red Bull revealed via a tweet that the team reached an agreement with rival Mercedes today. "Under the terms of that agreement, Ben, who joined Mercedes in August 2001, will be free to join Red Bull Powertrains from 24 May 2022," the team writes.
For a long time it seemed that Hodgkinson would not be allowed to work for Red Bull before 2023, as top employees cannot switch to the competitor overnight. After much deliberation, Mercedes nevertheless gave permission for the Briton to make the switch in May.
Mercedes F1 and Red Bull F1 today reached an agreement regarding the appointment of Ben Hodgkinson.
