Max Verstappen will show himself at a 24-hour race again this weekend. After the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which was on the program last weekend, he and Team Redline will take part in the 24 Hours of Daytona this weekend.

Verstappen impressed with his race team just last week. Where he qualified as second driver for the race, he ended up in the lead. The Dutchman and his team seemed to be well on their way to victory, but nothing was further from the truth. Due to a crash, the team did not make it to the finish.

This weekend he will prepare for a second chance. Verstappen will join Gianni Vecchio and Chris Lulham in a Porsche to battle it out in the GT class. The battle begins Saturday afternoon at 13:00, after which it will be clear 24 hours later whether the reigning world champion in Formula 1 has managed to take victory this time.

Verstappen has promising season ahead

For the Red Bull Racing driver, the races are an excellent preparation for the new Formula 1 season. The Austrian racing team is busy preparing behind the scenes, after which Verstappen can hit the track for tests in February. As reigning world champion, all eyes will be on him.
