Hamilton spotted in public
Lewis Hamilton has been quiet for weeks. Since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Briton has not been posting on his social media and he is also nowhere to be found in the media. The seven-time world champion is currently in Los Angeles, where a fan took a picture with him. It is the first time since Abu Dhabi that the driver has been spotted in public.

Wolff puts on a racing outfit for a change
Toto Wolff has donned a Mercedes racing outfit for a ride in two of the German marque's sports cars. This is a different image than we normally see of the Mercedes team boss.

Perez sung to by Horner and Verstappen
Sergio Perez celebrated his 32nd birthday on 26 January. The Mexican did so at the Red Bull Racing factory where he received low-calorie muffins and was sung to by Christian Horner and team-mate Max Verstappen.

Formula 1 cars back in action
It has taken a while, but there is once again Formula 1 action on track in 2022. Ferrari starts their first test of the season this week. It will be driven with an older car from 2018, but the aim of the test is to warm up the team for the new season. Test driver Robert Shwartzman is the first man on the track.

Alonso finally begins his training for the new season
Fernando Alonso has had a busy winter. The Spaniard had to undergo an operation after his cycling accident a year ago and has also had to recover from it. The two-time world champion says on his Instagram account that he can now finally start training for 2022.
Mercedes looks back on its return to Formula 1
It was exactly twelve years ago today that Mercedes officially returned to Formula 1 as a works team. On 25 January 2010 the car was launched with which Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg finished fourth in the constructors' championship. In 2013, Lewis Hamilton joined the team and Mercedes finished second in the championship. With the introduction of the hybrid era, Mercedes is unbeatable as a constructor, winning the constructors' title for eight consecutive years.

Verstappen and Piquet board a helicopter together
Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet love adventure, as evidenced by the Dutchman's latest Instagram post. There, they can be seen together in a helicopter, with the caption that there is more to come.
