AlphaTauri did not only present their new car for 2022 on Monday, as the drivers' racing suits and helmets were also unveiled. From 2022, the helmets of Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda will be just a little easier to distinguish.

No more identical helmets

By just a little bit easier, we really mean just a little bit. Last year, Gasly and Tsunoda came up with almost identical helmets. In 2022, Gasly will drive with a little less red on his helmet, as the upper part will be white with his own logo and his number will be in navy blue.

Tsunoda has chosen to move away from the red slightly and will drive with more orange on the helmet in 2022. The top of the helmet is brightly coloured, making the two in the car a little easier to distinguish than before.

New racing suits

The team's race suits have also changed. There is a lot more white on the suits and a lot less navy blue. Just like on the team's new AT03, the stripes return on the suit.
