Whereas Mercedes impressed at the Bahrain International Circuit with the revamped W13, Red Bull Racing's RB18 has little new to show for it. Ted Kravitz wondered on Sky Sports how the Austrians are looking at the rival.

The lack of sidepods on Mercedes' W13 is the talk of the Thursday morning. It was already known that Mercedes would come with an update in Bahrain, but how big the differences became clear during the first day of testing at the circuit. The new car of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell drew a lot of attention.

Red Bull looks to Mercedes

It was different at Red Bull Racing. Whereas in Barcelona there was a lot of attention for the RB18, now there is little to see. "At the moment we don't see a big change. It's largely the same car as we saw in Barcelona. A little change around the front wing but nothing significant," said Kravitz.

The question, then, is whether there are any concerns at Red Bull about the new W13. When Verstappen and Christian Horner come into the picture while talking, Kravitz cleverly addresses it. "I imagine that's the conversation they are having. Do they have to worry about it? We will see. If we were disappointed with what Mercedes brought to Barcelona, now we can say Ha ha! This is what they were working on," Kravitz concluded.
