Wolff speaks out forcefully: 'Unbelievable'

Mercedes still has a week and a half to get ready for the new Formula One season. Toto Wolff is therefore busy trying to give the best possible car to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, although he is keeping an eye on the situation in Ukraine.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, not only the world, but also Formula 1 has been in turmoil. While the FIA earlier decided to remove the Russian Grand Prix from the calendar, Haas chose to release Nikita Mazepin.
Although the teams have clashed in recent years, they showed unity this week in Bahrain. The drivers agreed to take a photo together to make a strong statement against the war that is currently taking place in Ukraine.
Wolff is horrified by the war in Ukraine
Wolff thought it only logical that the Formula 1 world would make something of itself heard. Indeed, the Austrian looks with horror at the situation in the country that lies west of Russia. "Unbelievable that in this day and age we are still experiencing a war in Europe. That is why we're making it clear what we think of this invasion," he said in conversation with the NOS.
