Ferrari has it right: 'Not seen any trouble at all'

Ferrari is looking good during the test days leading up to the 2022 Formula One season and that can only be a good thing, according to Jean Alesi. The former Ferrari driver hopes that the Italian team can finally compete for the title again.
Ferrari in form
With 116 laps on Thursday Ferrari filled up the total number of laps over four test days nicely. The Italian formation is clearly in the lead with 555 laps after four test days and also on Friday it went past the start/finish line several times (42 laps at the time of writing). The F1-75 also looks stable and reasonably fast.
''The last two years Ferrari have had bad seasons. But it's a winning team, it's a team always looking for world championships, podiums and winning races. They are really really dreaming to be back on the top, and the fans and team,'' said the Frenchman to Sky Sports. For now, the omens are good for Mattia Binotto 's team with at least a reliable car in Barcelona and Bahrain.
Peace and quiet at the top
''I believe after the testing in Barcelona and Bahrain, the car looks competitive. Without a single probably for reliability which is important, and they can make laps after laps. We have never seen the car in low-speed corner or high-speed corner in a bad situation. I hope they can be on top.''
According to Alesi, a good season is also necessary for Ferrari, because where it has been quiet at the top in recent years, the bomb can also just burst again if performance does not improve. According to Alesi the team is now focusing much more on performance and much less on emotion. Therefore the internal pressure seems to be less, but everything depends on how fast the car is during the first Grand Prix.
