Verstappen thinks Hamilton is not honest : "They always do, actually"

Lewis Hamilton is trying to creep into the underdog position with Mercedes and that doesn't surprise Max Verstappen. The Red Bull Racing driver places little value on Hamilton's words and is not surprised if Mercedes are "just sitting there" in a week's time.
"They actually always do that," Verstappen replied in conversation with the Dutch press, including Formule1.nl. The 24-year-old Dutchman saw it happen more often in Formula 1 in recent years."If a team does well at the test they say, 'oh, we're not favorites'. And then when things do go well, you hear: 'we turned it around so well in a week, everyone at the factory worked hard...' But last season Mercedes was also enormously strong after all."
RB18 balance in order
Verstappen told Viaplay that the balance of the RB18 is good and that there were no major problems during the test days this season. According to Limburger, it is now a matter of developing better parts for the car.
"Of course we are working on that as well. I think that this season is not necessarily about how you are doing in the first three races, but the development phase you enter afterwards. Everything is new anyway and you still have a lot to learn about the car. We just have to make sure we get faster throughout the season and find more things for on the car," he says.
Next week, the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend is already on the program. Based on the test days, Red Bull thinks Ferrari is the favorite for victory at the Bahrain International Circuit. Red Bull itself would be the runner-up and behind it are Mercedes and McLaren battling it out amongst themselves.
