Steiner is very confident: "Can score points every race!

Things are finally looking up for the Haas team. In fact, team boss Guenther Steiner is so confident that he is hopeful that his drivers will be able to compete for points at every Grand Prix.
In recent seasons, Haas have been parked at the back of the grid, but that has now changed thanks to a car that can compete well in the midfield. As a result, Kevin Magnussen has now been able to score valuable points for the team twice in a row, compared to none in 2021.
The team is therefore impressing friend and foe alike and Guenther Steiner himself also has a lot of confidence in his team and the car. "I think it is a realistic goal to score points every race, at least in the first half of the season. After that we have to see if other teams will make big progress, but I am confident that we can maintain the current form," says the high-profile team boss in a conversation with Speedweek.com.
A close-knit team
Another thing that helps with Haas' current success is the current driver duo at the team. Last year, the team boss still had to manage two rookies, between whom there was also quite some animosity.
According to Steiner, that is not the case now. Magnussen and Schumacher get along well. The young Schumacher has a good yardstick in Magnussen and the Dane meanwhile tries to support his teammate with his experience. It seems to have been a golden move by Steiner to bring Magnussen back to the team.
