Verstappen not dissatisfied in Australia: 'We're closer to Ferrari'
- GPblog.com
Max Verstappen is not entirely dissatisfied after Friday's race in Australia. The Dutchman visibly struggled with his car, but did manage to split the Ferrari's on the red line. However, there is work to be done for Verstappen and his team.
During the first two practice sessions at the Albert Park circuit, it is clear that Ferrari is in good shape. With a first and second time in VT1 and a first and third time in VT2 the Italian team is in a good position. Verstappen is close behind with Red Bull Racing, but things are not yet going quite according to plan with the RB18.
''After some changes the car felt better and more stable after that, so that's nice. Ferrari again seems very strong, but we are close,'' Verstappen told De Telegraaf's F1 reporter Erik van Haren after the session.
