At Ferrari, the Australian Grand Prix produced mixed results. Charles Leclerc ran away with a dominant victory, while Carlos Sainz crashed out on the third lap of the race. At Sky Sports, the differences between the two drivers are discussed.

For Sainz, the weekend in Melbourne went disastrously. After a mediocre qualifying, he did not make it to the finish line in the race, but had to watch teammate Leclerc drive to a dominating victory. The start of the season is not going as planned for the Spaniard.

"Sainz is going to be the unhappiest man in this whole Melbourne Grand Prix. It's a kick in the teeth when you go off and your teammate wins. He has to trust the car that's doing well, trust a bit of luck and hopes momentum comes your way. The Championship, he can't even think about that anymore. He has to think qualifying by qualifying, race by race," Sky Sports pundit Paul Di Resta says after the race.

Leclerc, on the other hand, is having an incredibly strong start. The Monegasque already has two wins to his name and for now has a comfortable lead in the championship. The Ferrari driver is making a big impression.

"It's got speed and drivability. He was in total control, with a track like this it's difficult with some bumps. He had an answer to everything, I don't think anyone could've thrown anything at him, even his teammate. He goes from strength to strength, he's thinking about fastest laps and he's pushing the team," says the former Formula One driver.
