It was Red Bull Racing' s weekend in Imola. The team scored its first double victory since Malaysia 2016 and the first with Max Verstappen winning. Christian Horner rubs hands with both drivers.

After the disappointment at the Australian Grand Prix, two weeks later it proved to be a world of difference for Red Bull, who dominated the entire weekend in Imola. Partly due to Carlos Sainz 's retirement, the Austrian racing stable is also right back in the constructors' standings.

Horner proud of Red Bull

Despite Verstappen's comfortable lead, Horner says that the changing conditions made it a "pretty stressful race" from the pit wall. It was also exciting for Perez, as he had Leclerc in his mirrors for a long time. "I think both Max and Checo did incredibly well today," he said in conversation with Sky Sports.

Leading up to the weekend in Imola, there were varying reports about the updates that Red Bull would or would not bring. In the end, the team took a small update and it turned out to be the right choice. "Many people said you shouldn't do that with just one practice session. We believed in ourselves and that paid off in maximum points," explained the Red Bull team boss.

He is therefore immensely proud of the entire team. "Checo had Charles under control and the guys made some incredible stops today. It was a great team performance, not just from the guys on the track, but from everyone in Milton Keynes," said a proud Horner.
