Toto Wolff has been the team boss with the biggest smile on his face in recent years. Between 2014 and 2021 he managed to win every constructors' title with Mercedes, but this season is different. The German formation is in crisis, as the results are far below par. Still, Nico Rosberg thinks Wolff is the right person to help Mercedes get back on top.

Rosberg managed to celebrate great successes with Wolff as Mercedes team boss, culminating in his own world championship in 2016. The German also thinks Wolff is the right man to get Mercedes back on track. He says this in conversation with the British television channel Sky Sports.

How to proceed with Wolff.

According to Rosberg, Wolff is one of the best team bosses we have ever seen in Formula 1 and is incredibly strong at keeping a team together and motivating his employees. "Of course he sometimes has tantrums, we have all seen that, but nevertheless, in my opinion he is the right man to lead such a team through such a difficult situation."

According to Wolff, the mediocre performance has nothing to do with Lewis Hamilton or George Russell. The 50-year-old driver frankly admitted last weekend that this W13 is impossible to drive. Especially Lewis Hamilton had a hard time. In qualifying, sprint race and race he did not manage to get inside the top-ten. A negative unique for the men from Brackley.
