Leclerc wary of Red Bull: "We will lose it if we don't manage the tyres"

Charles Leclerc claimed his fourth pole position of the season today in Barcelona, ahead of his main rival Max Verstappen. Despite, being happy with his result, the Monegasque driver knows what needs to be done during the race tomorrow.

"I feel good, but it was a very difficult session," Leclerc told Sky Sports. "I only had one lap, but it went extremely well. I made it stick, it was a good lap and the car was amazing too, I'm very happy."

Leclerc knows strength of Red Bull and Verstappen

Although finishing ahead of his rival, the Ferrari driver knows that it won't be easy to stay in the lead tomorrow, stating, "I am in a strong position to start the race, but we have been struggling with tyres in the last two races compared to Red Bull. We will lose it if we don't manage the tyres. We need to do a good job with tyre management."
