BREAKING | Race over for Leclerc after his Ferrari fails
- GPblog.com
The first DNF for Charles Leclerc in 2022 is a fact. He seemed to be driving towards an unthreatened victory, partly due to Max Verstappen's failed DRS, until his F1-75 gave up the ghost. The Monegasque had to go straight to the pits and parked in Ferrari's garage.
Perez in the lead
This left George Russell surprisingly in the lead, with a severely irritated Verstappen in his wake. The Dutchman has since been in for a second stop, while his teammate Sergio Perez has taken over the lead from Russell.
