Sergio Perez set the fastest time during FP3, but the session may be quite detrimental to the Mexican. He has to report to the stewards, as does Guanyu Zhou. Lance Stroll also needs to report to the stewards, but he is a victim of Carlos Sainz.

All three drivers are being taken to the stewards for possible offences during the third free practice session. The drivers are suspected of breaking article 37.5 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, better known as getting in the way of a faster driver during free practice or qualifying.

Sergio Perez caused hindrance to George Russell at Turn 18, Zhou was in the way of Max Verstappen at Turn 14 and Carlos Sainz allegedly got in the way of Lance Stroll at Turn 19, according to FIA documents.

Interview with the stewards before qualifying

Lance Stroll has to pass the stewards first, he is currently explaining what happened in front of him. At 15:00 local time, Perez has to give his story and Zhou is expected last at 15:30. The hearings will then be just finished before the start of qualifying at 16:00 Local time.
