Verstappen satisfied: 'As a team we did a good job'

Max Verstappen did important business in Monaco on Sunday afternoon. The Dutchman took third place and managed to keep his direct rival Charles Leclerc behind him, keeping him on top in the world championship.
Verstappen was relieved afterwards that after Saturday's disappointing qualifying, in which he took the fourth starting position, he still managed to set a good result. The driver emphasised that his team played an important role with the strategy.
"I did the best of course after yesterday and you know that once you got blocked with that Red flag in qualifying, you start fourth. I tried to do the best that I could. As a team we did a really good job with the strategy to get ahead of the Ferrari's," Verstappen said.
Verstappen relieved about the result
The result brought relief to the Dutch driver. "As the whole team we can be pretty pleased with this Sunday. I was a hectic one with the rain and stuff but we executed it well, and I extended my points lead which I didn't expect last night. That is a positive."
