Carlos Sainz revealed after the Monaco Grand Prix to Speedweek.com that he is dissatisfied with the judgments of the race committee. According to the Spaniard, they do not always act fairly towards Ferrari, he said in the interview.

The Italian racing team was fined 25,000 euros in qualifying on Saturday afternoon. It had to do with Sainz's driving behaviour which, according to the stewards, unlawfully got in Lance Stroll's way, which also earned him a third penalty of the season.

Sainz disagrees with the stewards

Sainz can somewhat imagine that he can make a mistake but does not understand why his fellow drivers did not receive a penalty at other times. He believes that the race management has double standards and should therefore be more straightforward.

"I stopped counting how many times I was impeded in Monaco," Sainz states. "What I don't understand is why Ferrari is fined 25,000 euros in practice for an action I caused. I took the blame and apologized to Stroll, but I just don't understand why other cases are not even investigated, let alone punished."
