Admiration for Verstappen: "It's just beautiful to watch"

Max Verstappen has won six of the nine Grands Prix and he was again the master in Canada. The Red Bull Racing driver excelled in the wet qualifying and went clear in the race a day later. Philipp Eng is impressed with Verstappen's performance again this season.
"As a driver, it's about being mentally strong. Nothing can take him off the right track. If you look at qualifying in Montreal. The track dried up and Max was incredible there. Every time he did a flying lap he was seven or eight tenths faster than second. In those situations you need the confidence. It's just beautiful to watch," the DTM driver told Austrian television station ServusTV.
The analyst is then asked whether Red Bull Racing can still be beaten in the world championship. With thirteen GPs to go the difference in the constructors' standings is 76 points, while Max Verstappen's lead over Charles Leclerc is 49 points. Eng is not yet willing to put all his money on the Red Bulls. "They said the same about Ferrari at the beginning of the season, but the tide has turned so quickly. That's also the beauty of Formula 1 today."
Will Verstappen be the deciding factor?
However, the 32-year-old Austrian knows that Red Bull has an advantage over Ferrari. "They always have Verstappen. He can decide it. A driver with such qualities can make the difference in the end."
