Red Bull issues fierce statement after Austria GP: 'Shocked'
- GPblog.com
Red Bull Racing is shocked by the fact that sexual harassment took place during the Austrian Grand Prix. On social media the team has issued a fierce statement about the behaviour.
Max Verstappen said earlier in the day that he disapproved of the behaviour of some spectators. Red Bull decided to follow up on this by issuing a personal statement. In it it is critical of the events over the weekend.
"We are shocked to hear that there have been incidents of completely unacceptable behaviour in the grandstands and the fan parks," it said. "We value inclusion and want a safe space for fans to enjoy our sport."

Verstappen fails to beat Leclerc
While Verstappen fans were hoping for a win for the Dutchman, it was Charles Leclerc who ultimately prevailed. The Monegasque was the faster on track throughout the race, although things went just right for him in the closing stages. A day earlier Verstappen did win the sprint race.
