Verstappen on track battles: 'That has been a bit updated'

At the Austrian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen found himself side-by-side with Charles Leclerc and his old rival Lewis Hamilton on several occasions. The Dutchman enjoyed the battles with the other drivers.
Verstappen did not have the pace on his tyres to defend against Leclerc, but we saw some great battles. According to the Dutchman, the fact that the battle against the Monegasque and Hamilton went well was not because he did not have the pace to fight for the win.
"No, I think it was just good racing, you try to defend, you try to attack the other person? It depends where you are. I think it was just very good racing from all of us. Of course, sometimes you're on different kinds of tyres or age of tyres," Verstappen says during the press conference after the race.
Verstappen: 'It was good fighting'
Teammate Sergio Perez did not have a great fight. The Mexican was hit by George Russell on the opening lap of the race. Perez ended up having to park his car in the garage because the RB18 had suffered too much damage in the crash. The Mercedes driver received a five-second time penalty for the incident.
Verstappen was fortunately able to enjoy his race without any collisions. "I think everything was good. Of course, this year, I think also this weekend, in terms of like the moving and stuff with breaking the tow has been a bit updated. But overall, I think it was good, good fighting."
