Verstappen will auction the worn helmet with which he finished second at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. The helmet, which is not in the usual white and gold, but is white, blue with green accents, will also be handed over personally by the reigning world champion.
Although the auction has still over 55 days to go at the time of writing, an astronomical amount has already been bid of 132,500 euros from 'RadoslavR'. The auction itself ends on September 4, the day of the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort. A minimum of 135,000 Euros must be bid by the next bidder.
