After eleven Grand Prix weekends, it is time to take stock of the standings for the DHL Fastest Pitstop Award. Red Bull Racing, the defending champion, is on top with 252 points, but the McLaren team is hot on their heels. The difference is only eighteen points.

Ferrari follow at a close distance from the numbers one and two in the standings with 154 points exactly halfway through the season. The Italians are in a battle with Alpine in the pit lane. The French formation is on 121 points. Alfa Romeo Racing and Haas F1, despite starting the season reasonably well in terms of World Championship points scored, still have a lot of time to gain at the pitstops. They are on nine and four points respectively.

Red Bull's supremacy in 2021 was particularly impressive. In the end, the Austrian racing team collected 569 points, while runner-up Mercedes had to make do with 317 points. This year, with the new regulations and larger tyres, the differences between the teams in the pit lane have been levelled out, although Red Bull's pit crew are proving to be the fastest in Formula 1 for the time being.

The fastest pit stop of this season was completed by Ferrari in 2.23 seconds. This happened during a pit stop by Charles Leclerc in the Spanish Grand Prix. The fastest tyre change at Red Bull was made by Sergio Perez in Australia: 2.27 seconds.
