Hamilton loved by fellow drivers: 'A nice person'

Lando Norris is benefiting from Lewis Hamilton's career experience. Although the two drivers are not on the same team, the McLaren driver has noticed that the seven-time world champion is happy to help his fellow drivers.
"He is well-liked. He is a nice person", Norris stressed in an interview with The Guardian. "He seems always to want to help the Brits and the young drivers. He does give advice with little things, asks what I am planning. He has been through everything so he knows what teams try to get out of you and what you should get out of teams. It’s small things but he is always willing to help."
Norris and Hamilton work hard in France
Norris had a reasonable start to the race weekend in France. During the first two free practice sessions, he recorded seventh and sixth fastest times in succession, again outperforming teammate Daniel Ricciardo.
For Hamilton, his weekend started more quietly. As Mercedes chose to give Nyck de Vries a chance in the first free practice session, Hamilton only had to participate in one session. In it, Hamilton set the fifth fastest time.
