Charles Leclerc will start from pole position for the French Grand Prix for the seventh time this season. Ferrari used a clever strategy to secure the pole. As Carlos Sainz will start from the back of the grid after his penalty, the Spaniard helped his teammate with a slipstream. Max Verstappen has to make do with second place.
