Praise for Verstappen: 'We are witnessing an unbreakable chain here'.

Charles Leclerc eliminated himself from the French Grand Prix, while he had plenty of chances to win at Paul Ricard. Ralf Schumacher therefore thinks that the Monegasque threw away the victory himself.
Max Verstappen has a 63-point lead over closest rival Leclerc after the French Grand Prix. According to Schumacher, everything indicates that the Dutchman's title defence will be successful and that is not only due to Verstappen's good races.
Ferrari clears the way for Verstappen
"The path to Verstappen's successful title defence is not only clear, it is also being cleared by Ferrari. We are witnessing an unbreakable chain here," Schumacher is quoted as saying by SpeedWeek.com. According to the former F1 driver, Ferrari are doing everything they can to avoid becoming champions themselves.
"Drivers make mistakes, sometimes one, sometimes the other. This time I think Charles threw away a victory," Schumacher concluded. Meanwhile, Verstappen has slipped so far in the championship that a first Ferrari driver title since 2007 already seems out of the question.
