Binotto: 'No reason why not to win ten races from not to the end'

According to Mattia Binotto, there is no reason why Ferrari cannot win all ten remaining races of the season to save the championship. The team boss remains positive after Charles Leclerc's crash in France.
With ten races to go, Max Verstappen has a 63 point lead over Leclerc in the drivers' championship. If the Monegasque manages to win the next ten races, along with the sprint race in Brazil, it would still not guarantee the title victory. Verstappen could finish second everywhere and pick up ten fastest race laps. According to The Race's calculation, he would then win the title with a two-point lead.
Binotto, however, is not looking at the points total, but only at the potential Ferrari has shown so far. "I think every single race counts [just as much] as the others and at the end of the season we will do the sum and let’s see where we are. There is no reason why not to win 10 races from now to the end", he is quoted by The Race.
Binotto not counting on mistakes at Red Bull
"Could something happen to Max and to Red Bull? It’s already happened to them as it happened to us. Maybe it happens again, but I’m not counting on it", says Binotto. The Italian stresses that he is only focusing on his own team and not on what Red Bull is doing. Ferrari hopes to be strong at the Hungaroring this weekend to start the summer break on a positive note.
