Ferrari and Red Bull Racing are preparing for Saturday afternoon's qualifying session. In wet conditions, the Italian team will try to regain pole position, although Mattia Binotto says that will not be the most important thing. He told Sky Sports.

The Formula One teams face a lot of rain on the track this weekend, which will make the race a lot more unpredictable. Binotto also expects Ferrari to have some surprises on Sunday. As a result, he realises that pole position will not automatically lead to victory.

"Quali today will be important," the Ferrari team boss stressed in conversation with the English medium. "I think being on pole today is not important, but make sure you are at least with the front runners that will be the key for the race tomorrow."

Leclerc must fight back in battle with Verstappen

In the last Grand Prix before the summer break, Binotto hopes Charles Leclerc is able to take victory in Hungary. After all, his gap in the world championship to Max Verstappen has increased to 63 points, so he cannot afford a bigger difference.
