During the first free practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix , Lewis Hamilton drove into the path of Carlos Sainz, causing a dangerous situation on track. The Mercedes driver was summoned by the stewards, but got away with the incident.
No penalty for Hamilton after holding up Sainz
The stewards have decided that Sainz was 'not significantly' hindered by the Mercedes driver and that the incident was due to the narrow track, which makes it more difficult to leave enough space.
No further action for Hamilton:
