Max Verstappen is thoroughly enjoying his home Grand Prix in Zandvoort. The Red Bull Racing driver speaks of a great atmosphere and is happy that the fans can sit so close to the action.

Good addition to the calendar

"This is of course unbelievable and it's great that the fans are so close to the circuit. It's been a great atmosphere all weekend and I hope we can get a good result," Verstappen said on camera at F1's drivers' parade.

Verstappen thinks Zandvoort is a great addition to the calendar. "It's 'old school', a small mistake is punished immediately. Outside of that it's really incredible with so many Dutch fans."

Verstappen for the win

Verstappen knows that scoring points at this stage of the championship is perhaps even more important than the win, but he hopes to score 25 points on Sunday. "That's what we're going for in any case. The most important thing is to get points, but we always try to win. I hope everyone is going to have a good time and that we win the race."
