Misconduct of Italian fans: Chants about Verstappen's mother

Tifosi set a bad example

In recent months there has been a lot of criticism towards the Dutch supporters, but also the Italian supporters have not shown their best side this weekend. During the Italian Grand Prix, images surfaced of 'supporters' forcing Verstappen fans to remove their Verstappen hats.

Hey @Autodromo_Monza/@F1, we don’t accept bullies in our sport. These men are harassing/bullying anyone wearing Max Verstappen hats until they take them off.

No security/officials to be seen anywhere to at least report them.

During the race there were also shouts from the audience. From the video below, you can see that people were saying that Verstappen's mother was a w*ore. During the podium ceremony, Verstappen was also widely booed. Though there is some small suggestion that this booing was aimed at the way the race finished.
