Perez warns Red Bull about qualities of competition

Sergio Perez will travel to Singapore this weekend for the first time in his time at Red Bull Racing. The Mexican told Sky Sports and others at the press conference that he expects to face a tough Grand Prix.
Due to the corona crisis, the race weekend did not take place for no less than two seasons, making several drivers quite looking forward to this coming weekend. Perez expects Red Bull to be strong again, but at the same time knows it is not an easy track to drive on.
"I've never been on the podium here so hopefully I get to know it," stated Perez. "Physically it's one of the biggest challenges of the season. So many corners, during the race it's important to keep the car out of the walls."
Perez prepares for competition
Moreover, Perez expects Ferrari and Mercedes to make things quite difficult for the Austrian formation. Although Max Verstappen managed to win all of the past five race weekends to himself, Perez thinks a victory is all but a foregone conclusion.
"I think Monza was close [to Ferrari]. I expect Ferrari to be strong around this place. Also Mercedes have been there in the last few races. With Mercedes they are either very strong or a little bit weaker. If they are strong they will be in the mix for sure."
