Hamilton happy with updates: 'Am really proud of everyone'

Lewis Hamilton is happy to be back in the United States. The Mercedes driver feels comfortable at the Circuit of the Americas and hopes to achieve a nice result with his team. A podium seems to be the maximum in that respect. The updates brought will have to help.
"I am happy when I'm in the United States. This track is very special, considering it's a newer circuit. It's one of the best circuits we have. Single lap is exciting, and then we get this crowd that grows year on year. They do it differently here, I would say us Europeans are good at sport but there are things we have learned with the partnership with Liberty," Hamilton said during the press conference.

Of all the F1 teams, Mercedes has won by far the most times since the Austin circuit has been on the calendar, but another victory is unlikely to come. Hamilton reflects that. "You can expect Mercedes will try everything as we always do. I don't want to get my hopes up, a lot of work has gone into the upgrade as it always does. I am really proud of everyone for that work."
