Button leans towards Ferrari and Red Bull to succeed in the US Grand Prix

Jenson Button has placed Ferrari and Red Bull as his favourites for this weekend's United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of Americas, whilst also highlighting how strong Lewis Hamilton has been previously at the American track. However, the former World Champion also expressed how teams will be 'trawling through the data,' in order to succeed this weekend.
When questioned about who is most likely to succeed this weekend, the Sky Sports analyst gave a straightforward answer, stating: "I think it's going to be Red Bull or Ferrari."
Soon after, the Brit developed his answer, adding the need for data in order to come out on top on Sunday in Austin, "FP3 is going to be the key practice session for these guys, it's been such a mix-up for them, to go into a session without changing the cars and knowing which tyres are on the car. They will be trawling through the data, to find what changes they want."
Hamilton's experience in America will come in handy
Button went on to explain how track experience will be one of the most important factors this year, as the juniors running in FP1 struggled to match those who have raced in Texas before, highlighting the success of his former teammate Hamilton. He finished with: "He's [Lewis] exceptionally quick around here, he always gets it together and puts the lap together. I was his teammate and he was a tough cookie around here. It's [the track] fast and flowing. The juniors coming in to do the test found it difficult. A lot of experience helps you."
