The Chinese Grand Prix is the first event in 2024 to feature a sprint race. That means there is only one free practice in Shanghai, immediately followed by qualifying for the Sprint race. The sprint race will be held on Saturday. From this season, there has been a change. Qualifying for the Grand Prix is now after the sprint race.
