Full results British GP | Hamilton wins after Russell DNF

Lewis Hamilton has won the British Grand Prix. In a chaotic race where rain took centre stage, the Englishman won his home race. Max Verstappen was also on the podium: P2. The Mercedes and McLarens seemed faster during the rain race on the classic English circuit, but on the Dutchman's final stint he continuously had the fastest lap time on hard tyres. As a result, he still ended up in second place
Absolute chaos at the start of the British Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were even driving together in a group around lap 18. The Mercedes were driving on one and two, but after a few minutes it was the McLarens who were leading. Chaos all around during the British GP at Silverstone.
On lap 27, rain came pouring down again. Verstappen, who was on P5, changed to the inters, and ended up in front of Russell after the Briton also made his pitstop. Red Bull timed the Dutchman's pit stop perfectly. Russell had to abandon the battle on lap 35 of race because of an alleged water problem on Merecedes' car.
Verstappen crept closer and an exciting finale ensued with Hamilton, Norris and the Dutchman. Four laps before the end, the Red Bull driver overtook Norris, but in the end Hamilton was just too far ahead. Hamilton, Verstappen and Norris, in that order.
