Verstappen gets in and immediately recieves 3 penalties: 'I'm used to that'
- Nicole Mulder
Max Verstappen is taking part in the Race for Mental Health this weekend, a 23-hour race meant to raise money for charity. Even before his second stint had started, the Dutchman already had three penalties to his name.
Max Verstappen gets in with three penalties
During his first stint, Verstappen was already targeted by the 'FIA' - or at least a user who had assumed the name of the governing body. The rules during the charity race are different than normal, which includes allowing viewers to 'buy' penalties for certain cars by making a donation.
Even in Verstappen's absence, the #1 car received one penalty after another. Consequently, when the Red Bull Racing driver got in for his second stint, he was told: "Well done Max, you get in and you got three penalties already." To this, the three-time world champion responded curtly: "I'm used to that."
