Kelly Piquet shares images shining with Verstappen in Rwanda

Max Verstappen attended the FIA Gala on Friday night to collect his 2024 World Driver's Championship trophy. His girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, was seen by his side during the ceremony. On her Instagram story, the daughter of three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet shared a selection of images from the gala.
Kelly has often been at races in the last few weeks to support Max Verstappen. She was present in Qatar, for instance, as well as Verstappen's mother and sister. She was also at the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Kelly also took her daughter, Penelope. During that weekend, the pair announced that Verstappen and his girlfriend will have a baby together next year.

Kelly was also present in Rwanda to support her partner. The Dutchman received the championship trophy for the fourth consecutive year. Kelly shared images from the event in Kigali on her social media.
Verstappen revealed that he hopes it's not the last time that he attends the event as world champion. Of course, a lot can change in F1, as it did this year. After a dominant season in 2023, Max Verstappen was put under a lot of pressure by multiple drivers. Six others secured multiple race wins in one of the most exciting recent seasons of the sport.
