Verstappen to Aston Martin? This is the reaction from the Red Bull driver's camp

Max Verstappen could be moving to Aston Martin, according to the Daily Mail, the newspaper reported as an exclusive. However, the British medium did not say when this should happen. Moreover, a spokesman for the British team strongly denied the news. However, the aformentioned response is by no means what is being heard in the Verstappen camp.
Max Verstappen to join Aston Martin? The four-time world champion has been rumoured to eventually make the switch to the British team for a long time, as the Silverstone-based team are swimming in cash thanks to billionaire team owner Lawrence Stroll and Saudi sponsor Aramco. British newspaper Daily Mail revealed this Thursday that Aston Martin would inform potential sponsors that Verstappen is indeed coming to the team.
After enquiries, the GPblog that the team around Max Verstappen neither confirmed nor denied the news. A 'that's nice' is all that is said about the British newspaper's story. That, incidentally, does not mean that there are negotiations - or if there were, that they are coming to an end or have already been concluded. But whereas previous reports about Verstappen's future were always adamantly denied by his people, there is no such thing now.
Pressure on at Red Bull
Recently, Jos Verstappen revealed in an interview with a German news site that it is not out of the question for his son to leave Red Bull Racing after next season. The decisive factor will be how competitive Red Bull will be in 2025. A story such as the one brought by the Daily Mail and the response GPblog received probably does suit the Verstappen camp very well.
This way, extra pressure can be put on Red Bull, with the message: if you don't succeed in '25, Aston Martin plan to have Max for a lot of money. In other words: Do your best to keep him on board!
