Hamilton already breaks Leclerc's record on Day 1 at Ferrari
On Monday, Lewis Hamilton spent his first day in Maranello after joining Ferrari. The Briton's viral Instagram post has broken a new record as well, while fellow competitors Lando Norris and George Russell also left a message for the seven-time world champion.
Lewis Hamilton will compete for Ferrari in the upcoming seasons, and this Monday, the Briton has arrived to the Scuderia's factory in Italy. To begin with, he already broke a record, as he now has the most-liked F1-related post ever on Instagram. Previously, that belonged to his next teammate, Charles Leclerc, and his selfie with the Monza crowd as the Monegasque driver won the Italian GP in 2024. It also outscored Hamilon's previously most liked post, which was a photo of him and Roscoe together with Leclerc and his dog, Leo.
Drivers also reacted to the picture shared by the Briton. Hamilton's teammate at Mercedes, George Russell wished good luck, as under the same post, he wrote: 'Auguri fratello' ('Good luck brother').
The post currently stands at 4.8 million likes. McLaren driver Lando Norris also shared his reaction in the comment section, calling Hamilton a 'Don'.
