Father Perez congratulates son Sergio by posting remarkable photo

It's going to take some getting used to for the Formula 1 community. For the first time since the 2011 season, Sergio Perez will not appear at the start of a new F1 season. As is well known, the Mexican has been sidelined by Red Bull Racing after a dramatic 2024. Yet not only is the world going to miss Sergio Perez, but his father will be missed as well, Antonio Perez Garibay,
The always wide-smiling father Perez was a much-seen figure in Red Bull's pit box. As soon as the cameras were pointed at him, there were also invariably his characteristic thumbs up. But when the camera peeks inside Red Bull in 2025, the politician will no longer be pontifically in the box. So he will be sitting at home.
