Ocon shares 'crazy' first-hand experience at Hamilton's Day 1 with Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton made quite an entrace at Ferrari last week. The seven-time world champion's blockbuster transfer was completed ahead of this season, as thousands of fans turned up to great the British driver in Maranello. Esteban Ocon, who will compete for Haas F1 in 2025, was also at the Ferrari factory at the time, therefore, he had a first-hand experience of what Hamilton's first day looked like.

As Hamilton arrived in Maranello, the home of Ferrari, Haas driver Esteban Ocon was also present. Hamilton's first day took the world of F1 by storm, as he also broke a record on social media with his first photo becoming the most-liked F1-related post of all time. Ocon's plans coincided with Hamilton's first appearance as he is also preparing for the upcoming 2025 season.
"I was lucky to be in the same place on the same day because I was also at the simulator at Ferrari. So there was a crazy atmosphere, people were like crazy and it's just wonderful to see that there is so much passion for Ferrari, for F1 in the world and that it is growing non-stop," the driver told the French channel.
"It's clear that having the greatest driver of our generation in the most titled team is just crazy. So yes, I can't wait to be able to fight on the track with him, that's for sure," the Frenchman concluded.
