Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc know the name of their new F1 car for the 2025 season. Whether the name was discussed at length is unclear. The fact is that the Italian team has dubbed the car the SF-25 - obviously a reference to the year 2025.

On social media, Ferrari has revealed the name of this year's car. There is no image of the car yet. The livery cannot be seen until 18 February, when a presentation of the livery of all F1 cars for 2025 takes place in London.

A day later, the SF-25 will take to the track for the first time, when Hamilton and Leclerc will hold a shakedown. During test days in Bahrain at the end of February, the car will be in action for longer periods.

Ferrari are currently running in Barcelona

Since Tuesday the Italian marque has been present at Montmelo running a TPC programme to get Hamilton's acclimatisation process going, and to bring Leclerc back into racing rhythm. Yesterday, however, with Hamilton suffering a minor crash at the end of his run, it meant that Leclerc's had to be scrapped. Today, the Scuderia is running with it's reserve driver Antonio Giivinazzi and it's own junior talent, Sweden Dino Beganovic.
