Marko confirms lawsuit, Red Bull expected to struggle
Talking to Austrian newssite OE24 about a plethora of topics, Helmut Marko has confirmed there is indeed a lawsuit against Red Bull Racing, as the former Red Bull employee who accused Horner of inappropriate behaviour has now gone to the employment tribunal. The case will be heard in January 2026, as the De Telegraaf first reported and GPblog then confirmed. The Austrian advisor said he hopes for a settlement to be agreed.
Marko also talked about the potential rivals of Verstappen in terms of the drivers' title. The advisor pointed out many challengers, and marked one of them 'more dangerous' this season.
On the other hand, many analysts and former drivers see issues at Red Bull. First, it was Karun Chandhok who noticed a pattern in the Austrians' runs over pre-season testing, while Christijan Albers also foreshadows the team having a tough year.
Norris on 'faultless' Verstappen, Hamilton make stunning statement
Entering the 2025 season, Lando Norris is comfortable having the favourite tag. Still, he has to defeat Max Verstappen, something he failed to accomplish the previous season in their title battle. The Briton also considers other rivals, but talked what he has to do to turn the tables against the Dutchman this season. Moreover, he also gave an update on his bet with McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton is set for his Grand Prix debut with Ferrari next weekend in Melbourne, Australia. The seven-time world champion is confident the Italians are the best in one regard, namely, together with Charles Leclerc, they form the strongest duo on the F1 grid.
