Helmut Marko reveals that Red Bull will receive "20 more horsepower for Baku"
Red Bull has revealed that they will receive 20 extra horsepower at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix from their Honda engine. This news will be well received in the Red Bull team as it means that they should be that one step closer to fighting with Mercedes and Ferrari. Max Verstappen is currently sitting in third in the driver's championship and he will hope that he can maintain this position.
Speaking to wheels24, Helmut Marko said that there was "good news from Honda. For Baku, we'll get 20 more horses."
The Red Bull set up continues to develop with the team saying that ith the chassis they have now and the power from the engine they could be up with the top teams.
Team boss Christian Horner is happy with the upgrade and believes that things are looking good for Red Bull.
"Honda is making progress on the straight lines," he said."There are things in the pipeline that should help us in the near future to find that bit we are missing compared to the cars ahead of us."
Red Bull will hope that the engine upgrade gives them that little boost to close the gap and become a genuine contender this season.
